You and thousands of others matt - very unsavoury talk of block sales to touts, dodgy websites etc is starting to emerge. If true this is a very bad reflection on Matchroom....very bad
tried and tried from 9 am on the dot for 2 hours. When I was selecting the tickets it was saying they aren't available. #corrupt#
There has to be some sort of 'Trading Authority' watchdog-type body that this can be reported to. Seriously!
I don't think he'll soundly beat him, I just think he's a more skilled fighter. Over 3 rounds in the amateurs, Cummings' work rate would be enough to cause anyone problems, but with the change of styles as a pro and the change of tempo, I think that would suit Quigley. I'm a fan of Cummings. I was dyin for him to turn pro, but out of the prospects we have at middlewight now, I think Quigley's top of the pile.
I respect your opinion, and for the most part I agree with it. I'd have Quigley Cummings as 50/50 but, if I really had to choose, I'd fancy Quigley for the same reasons you've listed above. My initial point was aimed at the person who said Quigley would have no bother beating him. I was curious as to how that conclusion was drawn :huh
My Mrs was trying to buy 2 tickets for us this morning. She only managed to get 1 ticket! Lower tier beside Framptons ring entrance, £165!! Looks like she'll be going shopping or to the cinema on the eve of Feb 27th....!!
It's a fight I'd love to see between them at their peak, especially if both of them pick up world belts. I'd rather not see them fight now.
Cummings and Meli draw. Hearing it was a good fight, Meli knocked down in the first round and both men deducted a point late on. Scores were 96-93(Meli), 95-92 (Cummings) and 94-94. Hopefully a rematch on TV.
Saw Cummings spar Ward at the high-performance when they were youths, very even until Joe changed gear in the last round.
