For once i'd agree with you Len, Adam Booth is the king of self appreciation, and has done ****all to warrant it. Having said that, Burnett is nowhere near the level he's made out to be. The Jason booth of old would have taken him apart, and Booth was never a puncher.
I'm a little disappointed with Burnett, it's good to see him getting rounds under his belt but Booth is shot to pieces and after Booth went down heavy in the opener I expected Burnett to go through the gears and stop this by halfway. As said above, it is a learning fight and its live on Sky so it's all good experience. Just have a feeling he could have let his hands go and finished this and really impressed.
Why is Adam Smith trying to get Booth to become some sort of mentor to the youth of Nottingham? Smith keeps mentioning Booth's substance abuse and alcohol problems and what a great role model he would be because he has survived all this.
Who is hyping him?? You serious?? Go watch something else. Booth said the greatest talent he has ever seen or worked with, Hearn said he would go through the lower weights and clean up!
Another hypejob. Booth is a gentleman, but he's ten years past his best, and has demons outside of the ring.
How many talents has Booth worked with? Hearn is a ****head promoter, what else do you expect from him? You've written the guy off after one fight? Ridiculous.
Great point. A lot to learn but hope he comes good more quality fighters at the lowers weights the better.
Zzz. Like I said over hyped farrag stopped him, yafai would stop him, butler, McDonnell. These were fighters the Burnett camp said they would easily beat inside the next 12 months. Got to walk before you can run.
