Why would you bask in the glory of a fight Canelo did not win in reality?

I don't think he got robbed... and I am a HUGE cotto fan. I think he won at most 5 rounds....

I think Cotto needs to go back to 154 - 147 side fighters, and he will still do okay.

He can honestly make 147.... and still get two good pay days.

Tim Bradley vs. Cotto would be awesome

I scored it draw, Could be 7-5 for either fighter with Canelo winning some clearer rounds.
Either way, the fight was fixed. Cotto won't win unless he can KO Canelo

To everyone who says that Canelo won but they felt the scores were too wide, think about the rounds that you gave to Cotto. Look at each one individually and would you say that he won them so definativly that there is no way a judge could have seen that round for Canelo?

A judge looks round by round. not the fight as a whole. They don't say "man that round was close and I gave the last 2 close rounds to Canelo so I should give this one to Cotto to avoid a lopsided score". In each and every round they have to ask themselves no matter how close the round was, who edged it out.

Think of a hypothetical fight in which 2 fighters of equal power throw the exact same number of punches all equally hard and effective but fighter A lands 2 more punches than fighter B. Those 2 punches would be enough to give him the round right? Now imagine that the same thing happens in the next 12 rounds. You end up with an insanely close fight with lopsided scores.

This was an extremly difficult close figh to score to me a robbery or bad scoring is when judges give rounds to a guy that clearly didn't deserve them but I don't think judges are obligated to give pity rounds because they gave too many close rounds to one guy

wide scores ruin a close fight.
canelo throws less lands less but since he is bigger each of his lands counts as 5 punches even if they dont look impressive.

close fight dont think cotto won but it was close

I had cotto winning by 2 rounds. Even if the judges didn't think Cotto won, I can't understand how they had Canelo winning by that large of a margin.

Do you know how to score a fight? You can't win a round because yo throw 1 flashy 3 punch combo that doesn't even land.
