Murray certainly won that fight, I was actually thinking about Ward vs. AA, and how GGG would have blown through AA, while Ward actually had a pretty tough fight.

    115-112 Murray

His own fault though, he knew he was going to get robbed. He wobbled AA two or 3 times but lacked the stamina to finish the job.

It is actually quite sad. To be robbed 3 times in 3 tittle fights, that must take a toll on a man's psyche. I really felt bad for him, he had his moments in rounds 3 and 8 when i thought he finally had AA and was going to taste victory but alas, Artur is a tough SoB to knock out, and german judges...well, we all know what they do.

I found it incredible one judge actually gave an honest score of 115-112 for Murray.

It was a close fight. Murray may have deserved to nick it but Abraham came on strong late.

Abraham would make good target practice for GGG would be destroyed in 3 or 4 rds.

Martin Murray is a 'good' fighter. I expected him to beat this version of AA by at least 1 convincing point, AA isn't as good as he once was.

Golovkin's resume isn't very strong, there's nothing wrong in admitting that.

I do think that Abraham is very faded and would lose badly against a top or decent SMW

    Point blank!

GGG resume dwarfs in comparison to Canelo's.
That doesn't mean that Canelo beats him nor does it mean GGG couldn't live up to the hype that surrounds it. But as it stands now, GGG has pretty much feasted on weak opposition.
Its pretty much liken to how great Cotto looked in beating shopworn fighters he had faced before facing Canelo.

Cotto faced a capable fighter who had been facing the very best at 154 lbs, and all of a sudden the explosiveness that he showed vs a handicapped Sergio Martinez, couldn't even put a dent on Canelo Alvarez.
A similar happening could await GGG. You step up the competition and all of a sudden its not so easy.

The fact that a nearly shot Arthur Abraham is even in the fight with a fighter that went 11 rounds with GGG, goes to show you the caliber of opposition that GGG has been looking great against.

GGG was toying with Murray letting him go rounds. Murray was never even close to hurting GGG, while he managed to hurt Abraham. Murray couldn't even clinch with Golovkin, while he was very successful neutralizing Abraham with [excessive] clinching.

Yesterday's fight was very close, and Murray would likely get a nod if it was in England. If anything, it showed how MUCH better Golovkin is than Abraham.

Quillin, Jacobs and Ward would also become bums if they'd lose to Golovkin, so your contribution to this thread is irrelevent

Did he knock him out or win by wide margin? NOPE.

If Alverez ducks GGG, Abraham will do.
