It would be box office...when a matchroom fighter wins a title they automatically get promoted to the 'ppv crew'.... crolla will never be seen on sky sports 1 again

DeGale v Bute is not on PPV
    Quigg v Martinez wasn't PPV
Brook v Chaves wasn't going to be PPV after Vlad got injured
    Selby v Montiel wasn't PPV
    McDonnell v Kameda 1 and 2 wasn't PPV
    Brook v Dan wasn't PPV

In fact the only world champion that has been on PPV is Brook against Gavin (and that fight wouldn't have happend either if they won the purse bid for DeGale v Dirrell) and no way would they have been able to afford the likes of Gradovich, Linares and Johnson all coming over here on the same card without PPV (and even then they only apparently broke even).

Nobody knows who Flanagan is outside of Manchester and hardcore fans, but that's fine because they will make plenty from the gate to pay him.

Fine, but if it is on PPV it damn sure won't be the main event.

Usually I would say no, it would take more than this headlining for it to need a stadium. But you never know, with the right hype people flock as we've seen in the past. I would bet that over half of Wembley for Froch Groves 2 had never watched either of them before. I know there were circumstances that made that more appealing but that sold 80000 as Froch keeps reminding everyone so maybe 50000 at the Etihad for an all Manchester, red v blue wouldn't be impossible.

He has a few Light weight and Super middle weights with big names amongst others in the country all he has to do is match and 'stack' the card rematch and then 'stack' again.
