Your face has just farted again.

Compare Hughie to Mike Tyson - age is only a number.

Look at Big Fraudley - was shyte at the start and still shyte 15 years later.

Hughie not looking great against the stiffs that is why people cannot see how he will become World Champion.

Actually they do.. if every country enters the Olympic Games..

    Or for the world #1s..

Where the Olympic Heavyweight Champion of 200lbs isn't a heavyweight or cruiserweight if he doesn't stay there etc.

Ok there's a few after the black/white era.. but with so many weights you're gonna get the Olympic catchweight champion etc.

Really it's who faced who.. where some little guys never even fought the Rigondeaux in their weight range..

Sometimes the best welterweight fights in light welter.. sometimes in welter.

Above a certain weight there's less weights.. so you end up fighting the best.

Wilder or that Italian guy was the true #1 coming from the 2008 class.. not the IBO Afolabi just beat.

Or maybe one of the other guys that whopped Wilder.

As I said in the Lennox is the greatest H2H thread..

Ali went 6-0 in rematches etc.

    (Technically they should fear)

You can be a ibo champion and still considered top of the "lineal".

Olympic boxing is the "battle of the jabs" it's not WBC.

London Aba is better than the southern area Title and so on.

Well it's a ring title of some sort for Wladimir Klitschko and Floyd Mayweather.

It's the battle of the jabs yea.. the battle of the double jab and uppercut.. with the same hand.. to the head.

You can be a concussion jab artist but it doesn't help computer scoring. Andre dirrell etc

You need to be of Cuban dimensions (one two side step etc)

    Slip slip, bang,bang doesn't work

He's fighting some Bosnian with a 16-1 record at the weekend.
Maybe people would appreciate Hughie more if he took on a killer like Gary Cornish.

  13. They said he'd be the youngest world champ ever, so why not?

He was given a chance to fight Wilder and turned it down too.

At least Wilder was knocking out the bums he was facing.

casue he's 21 odd years old and in boxing there is a massive thing called hype.
He hasn't developed physically unlike Mike Tyson and is still adjusting to the pro game after illness.
Not fighting for a belt means they can put him in with who they want and let him develop and build his skill levels.

the win over Andriy Rudenko is already a good one.

He's in with another guy with a similar level of fights on Saturday. I would hope in the next year or so he goes for the British title. Alavarez has had 40 odd fights but has only reached the top in the last 2-3 years. Fury has time on his side no rush.

I think he's being brought along well.

  15. If the idea was to build hype it has failed, massively.

Rudenko? Who has he actually beat. Losing a UD to Browne who is extremely limit was awful.

I honestly don't see the fuss. He has no power, decent but no amazing boxing ability and is as interesting as dishwater.
