Semi Final 1: Julian Jackson vs Niger Benn
Semi Final 2: Gerald McClellan vs Gennady Golovkin

    I can't pick a winner!

Both of them are pickems. Jackson and Benn could go either way. GGG has never been in with anything like the beast GMAN was.

Jackson and Benn probably ends in a shootout round 1.

Golovkin v GMAN is so hard to pick. There's just no way Golovkin will have been hit that hard in his life and I'm not sure how he'll react to a sharp shooting powerhouse.

I agree with this...to an extent...Jackson ko's Benn, GGG stops McClellan and then GGG stops Jackson.

If Benn got past the 1st round I think he annihilates Jackson.

Jackson vs Benn is a wet dream (of mine)!:lol:

Can Julian handle Benn's pressure? Does Benn get careless and get sparked out?

G-Man could easily overwhelm GGG. GGG has seen nothing like G-Man in the ring, nothing. How does he react to THAT body shot? Or THAT body shot followed by the head shot? That was a killer combo. Not to mention that he was fast and was an outstanding amateur himself.

Then again, how does G-Man handle someone like Golovkin?

I'd love to see a JJ/GGG Final. Julian was a MUCH harder puncher, IMO.

    GGG would win it.

If Canelo can man up and fight GGG, we'll get a clear champion. I hope he does not hide behind the 155-pound line.

I would be for a super six like tournament at middleweight, and I'm pretty sure GGG would win it.

    GGG
    Alverez
    Quillin
    Lee
    Eubank jr
    Saunders

Those would be my six. It would be epic.

I'm not convinced Golovkin beats G at all. If he beats Canelo and dominates for 2 to 3 years against top opposition I'd probably rethink depending on opposition.

    Jackson-Benn too close to call.

I would take prime McClellan at Middleweight over the Golovkin of the last several fights.

Great matchups that seem like they could go either way, if all fighters were at their best.

Jackson would seriously hurt Benn early on but Benn would probably survive by fouling and eventually catch and hurt Jackson.

Can't call the second fight--would be incredible though. I'd pick the winner of the second fight over the winner of the first fight (even if it's G-Man v Benn again).

That's the one thing I agree with, I think the winner of the 2nd semi final is a favourite.

Let's remember with a different ref the GMAN v Benn fight could have been a 1 round ko and history could be totally different, especially if Gerald would have got tell unification with Jones.
