After 8 pages, no one offered a valid argument on how can Canelo wins. He doesnt have the power to hurt Golovkin. Doesnt have the stamina. No will he be able to get away from him. The fight will not even be competitive. So in resume, Golovkin is stronger, punches much harder, has a granite chin, has better stamina and better footwork. That doesnt mean Canelo isnt good, just that hes overmatched. It says something when the only guy that can beat him is Andre Ward who is il reality a light heavy.
That's a fair post. I think Canelo will lose, but I think that he's no pushover for anybody. It will be a scorcher while it lasts.
Willie is butt hurt that he felt like he did a good job against GGG and found out GGG was just playing with him. Didn't he post a photo of him hitting GGG saying "never forget" or "you won't forget this". Does the dude remember he up and quit the fight? So funny
I really can't think how Canelo would win. He doesn't have the power to stop GGG in his tracks. He doesn't have the footwork to avoid him. He doesn't have the activity to keep busy. He doesn't have the stamina either... While GGG has ALL these things and more.
i give ggg the edge...today, next year i think it will be a toss up. lots of things are going to be happening to both fighters over the next year. canelo is just reaching his prime and seems to be learning a lot from the high level of competition hes faced on the way up. ggg will be another year older and still looking for his first "a" level scalp. lots of guys have looked like beasts on their way up to the p4p fighters. matthysse, juan manuel lopez, are just a couple of recent examples, ggg may appear much better than those guys, but fighting the top dogs is a whole different ballgame. theres no way to know till he aces that test. this fight is going to make the winner a superstar.
