on planet K yes. but on this planet, all the hw champions were retired from defending the lineal world title against top contenders at 38, same as lewis.
in what round would it be shot in the head? to be fair its the kliturds keeping it alive - if they stopped, the thread would have died long ago . case of k.s.d.o.a.
Ha! Robbery of the century? Pull the other one. Vitali's claim to having been "robbed" rests entirely on proving that the cuts he suffered were caused by something other than punches - which none of his advocates have ever been able to provide any evidence to prove despite having well over a decade to review the fight and find it - or some ridiculous notion that the referee and doctor conspired against him - conspiracy theories and nothing more. Whatever else can be said of Vitali/Lewis the bottom line remains the same - Vitali wasn't good enough to get the job done when they met in the ring.
Vitali's eyebrow would have fallen clean off had he continued in the fight. TKO6 is true, it's damn true!:bbb
he'd be 38 for a rematch, and vitali was prime. kept it short also, but not intnetionally, short was all that was needed.
Legitimate cuts from punches if the fight had went on he would have ended up looking like Picassos breakfast
If it got shot before round six it would have been fine. But its round 500 now and the two sweaty bums are still flapping away at each other. I think that everything that could have been said about TKO6 has been said, and nobody is going to convince anybody else by now.
and yet here you are still keeping it going by posting afresh. clearly there some self destruction going on.
Lewis fans have the tko6 mantra but that's all they have, scrutiny of that reveals Vitali was winning the fight 4-2 on all three cards and the cut was caused by dirty boxing, illegal under WBC rules. It should have been an NC just as Sherman Williams vs Holyfied was and several other bouts. Indeed, the referee was one of the worst I've ever seen in a hw fight, a hapless midget who could not control Lewis's fouling or the fight, which is another factor to go with the two weeks notice - and no I don't buy being in the gym for Kirk Johnson is the same as a proper camp to fight for the wbc belt. There was no legit knockout in this fight and the wbc ordered the rematch immediately which Lewis chickened out of despite his lies post fight. Vitali emerged with more credit than Lewis despite his fans mantra and was the real champion and man.
why would anyone ever need more than a win? And is there anything more than a win? by early stoppage, no less, and in your worst form, against a prime guy who was a titlist for nearly a decade after. More emphatic than anyone could ask for.
Because Lewis was getting ****ed up man! He looked like he was going to die! He got chased out of boxing! Vitali didn't need a face! Seriously, Herol? Have you not read enough of the same arguments yet?
