  1. You heard it here first.

They'll both fight again in January/February since the WBC wants a double header.

There's a very good chance they'd be competing with May/Pac 2 on that mexican holiday...

I'd be shocked if Canelo fought again before May.

Yeah, Canelo ain't fighting in January. His next fight will probably be in May, I'd imagine.

Yeah that would be totally unreasonable. Canelo should be fighting at least 3 times a year, Hopkins fighting twice a year is totally acceptable, a young healthy strapping Irish lad like Saul, there's no excuse. Ievgen Khytrov has fought 5 times this year and 3 of those were longish matches.

The two biggest PPV days for boxing are the weekends of May 5th and Sept 16 and now that Canelo is considered a PPV star they will focus on those two days a year. It's been the business standard for quite a while.

It's May 7th. Lol. GBP already announced Canelo's next date at the presser. He wants to take back the mexican holidays.

:patsch GGG has a mandatory bout scheduled with Canelo...

now that Canelo has won the championship.

Why in the world should GGG allow the WBC/GBP to change the rules ?

I don't see any "gain" in this so called "Double Header" for GGG. In fact the risk is that the WBC's crooked judges could decide GGG loses the fight, removing him as the mandatory boxer.

The PAY-PER-VIEW broadcasters should step up together and demand the WBC for fill their obligation.
