We've got a serious case of butthurt here than Britain have more world title holders than the USA :lol::lol:

Despite a 5th of the population, a 500th of the PED cheats and a 10th of the chances.

So who really has the inferiority complex?

    Whoa there, partner.

Larry Olubamiwo, Dillian Whyte, Kid Galahad, Kenny Anderson, Craig Windsor... all in just the last few years.

By your maths you'll need to produce the names of 25k American boxers popped for PED use. :think

The Brits evidently have a high tech system to evade testing positive that puts ours to shame, there's been two Brits that have won the Tour De France in the last 4 years, both of them had close to zero climbing ability five years ago, yet in the past Tour Chris Froome produced more watts going up one of the hardest climbs in the Tour than Lance Armstrong in his prime, and he's been doing it consistently seemingly getting the ability to climb from out of nowhere. Every Cycling fan in the world thinks Froome and Bradley Wiggins (the other recent winner) are both dopers, they've just yet to be caught, the Brits strangely never get caught, which I find highly suspicious, since the only guy o actually get popped was David Millar and that was because his girlfriend got pulled over and she had an entire car trunk full of EPO.

They've got some very elusive hard to catch techniques, its becoming more than obvious. Italians, Germans, Americans, Spanish are all failing tests left and right but not the Brits.:think

Difference is they was given proper bans and a lot of them caught out of competition too and they also identified in the press over here as absolute disgraces to sports.

I'm not sure that the total population is as relevant as the total number of active professionals coming from each country, which for all I know widens the gap you're gunning for. But that would be a more important consideration in any such type comparisons.

And as IB already pointed out, you're using fuzzy math beyond that.

If you go by Boxrec then the active number of pros for each country is:

    UK: 933
    USA: 2682

Is Boxrec pretty accurate for this kind of thing? Someone with more insider knowledge might have a different numbers set.

Oh maybe they are just clean athletes. Getting caught as a PED cheat over here and the shame in brings upon you, is the equivalent of a normal person being outed as a pedo. :deal

    Hardwork and dedication. :thumbsup

Well is actually more that 5 times the population which means America have more than 5 times the population to produce quality boxers from. Yet these days they produce roughly the same amount, if not less.

I'm quite sure we'd have 10, 4 weight world champions gifted the opportunity the likes of Broner get too.

I can't even call him a prospects, his a feather fisted slapper, who's supposed power is his biggest attribute. He gets beaten to a pulp the minute he steps up past homeless level

I called him a "wildcard". I see some talent there, but he hasn't been in with anyone good enough to know more than that.

The "boxing population" is not the same as the "population" -- and the boxing population in the USA is tiny and shrinking.
