He's going to be overwhelmed by the occassion, that's natural. It's how he reacts when the bell rings that matters. Some fighters are scared sh!tless but they perform the best they ever did. Others perform worse.
yes I was shocked when I read that this morning :admin to me that means he has been really focused on this fight, be that in a negative or positive way I don't know, lol I hope for his sake he hasn't OVERTRAINED these last months as I did that once long ago and it "can" leave you feeling drained and tired come fight day and that is never a good thing. I am hoping most of all for a good fight at the very least :rasta
That's the lightest he's been in over 3 years, that's about as good as we can expect. He still looks a bit soft, probably around 18% body fat, could be better but he was never going to match Wlad in terms of physical conditioning. Wlad looked just as tall in the face to face, I think he's wearing thick soled shoes or lifts as a psychological ploy to get into Fury's head. Fury expected to look down at Wlad but what he got was a guy looking him straight in the eye.
In this pic you can see them at the weigh-in, full shot, footwear of both visible. Wlad's shoes do look like they would provide a bit more height than Fury's...but whatever the real difference is, it will make no difference come fight night. yeah Wlad took off shoes after the weight in and then put them back on right after, so I thought his shoe souls must be a bit thicker than Fury's as well as I have never seen them look so close in height before.
