For the record though, I never badmouthed Fury and always said that I liked him. I simply thought he was too Chinny for Wlad.

 

I'm happy for Fury but sad Wlad went out like that, he's better than that even at this stage in his career, he just didn't engage at all.

I could not see the fight. But reeding how the fight went I told to myself that if Steward was alive he would've somehow managed to get the win for Wlad.

I eat crow though... Credit to Fury. He really put on a good performance despite the fact that Wlad was gun shy, and possibly on his last legs. I was never hater though unlike some on this board.

 

I definitely favored Klitschko to win, but had the feeling fury could pull it off. It's tremendous achievement. Wlad is 39, it was time for a new champion and I think fury is good for boxing.
