For a guy who is worshipped on this board as one of the top 5 heavyweight champions his mental issues are huge. If he just threw a few more combinations he may have given himself a chance. He would prefer to earn millions of dollars with no punishment rather than take the chance of repeating Brewster / Corey that golfer. That is not ATG character.

Its hard to let your hands go when you know that the other guy has enough reach to respond

    Q: Wlad Right...
    A: Fury Left...

Wlad withdraws to the safe K-Zone

Klitschko was stuggling because Tyson Fury turned it into a chess match.

You don't think age had anything to do with it? Klitschko can't age because he's not human

He's fighting undefeated fighters at 40 let's hope the next undisputed champ is willing to fight everybody the way that wlad did. Somehow I have a feeling the new champ won't.

Get ready for the era of titles swapping hands and fighters avoiding each other

Don't think I've ever seen a heavyweight champion go down more meekly. I think sometimes he is so afraid of being hit that he just can't seem to throw a punch. A truly pathetic performance by a fighter of Wlad's stature. Fury wasn't much better, but at least a threw a few punches here and there. I hope Fury turns out to be good for the game, it could go either way I think, but at least he is a lot more colorful than Wlad.

For those who have actually boxed, know why Klitscko was reluctant to let his hands go, he has a ****ty chin, always has done and he was afraid of what would be coming his way.

Great fight plan by Tyson and props to him for sticking to the plan.
I was as vocal as anyone on this site and others that Wlad was going to KO Fury, but I'm eating crow right now.

RJJ had a great comment early on. He said Wlad should have been punching in the clinches, but he didn't know how to do it because he's always had his way with smaller guys.

Great character by Fury for shaking hands with Wlad after the fight.
