Wilder would have a better chance of jumping and trying to land on moon then landing one of his windmills on Fury.

Its a good thing for Deontay that Hughie didnt a fight on short notice vs Wilder because he woulda got outboxed like a mofo

There are upsets and there are ridiculous hype-jobs like Wilder.

Stop with the windmill BS. He's thrown those a few times when he had someone in trouble. If you think that's all he throws watch the Stiverne fight.

It's not long until Wilder gets comprehensively exposed. I give his team props for getting him into a position where he could claim a trinket, but he's now in a predicament where he's going to have to fight somebody with a pulse, which I can't see working out for him.

His resume is no worse than Fury's was prior to Wlad.

Do you like smoking crack too, mate? I gave it up about 10 years ago, but, I'll be honest, I still miss it sometimes.

Its not. Chisora is the only guy on Fury's resume prior to Wlad worth mentioning. Period.

Cunningham would (and did) trouble a lot of the top 20. I could see Cunningham being too fast for Chisora after that shocker against Rossy. KJ wasn't as shot fighting Fury as when he fought Joshua.
I'm completely surprised by the speed of Fury's footwork. Putting his hands behind his back and grinning.
I underestimated the Gypsy ****. Admit you have too

You're misunderstanding, I'm not knocking Fury. I'm just saying his resume prior to Wlad was not much better if at all from Wilder's. Because people use Wilder's resume to completely dismiss him.

    Fair enough. Apologies.
We've got the rematch. As a Wilder fan, who would you rather fight?

Of course I'd like to see him get a shot at being undisputed champion so I would want Fury for sure.

But I am confident he can beat Povetkin, even if most of this board gives him no shot. And I think he will. I just don't see how Povetkin gets inside without eating to much leather.

wilder is not getting in the ring with povetkin, isn't that pretty clear to everyone by now? There are so many ways to avoid at all costs... they never fight. period.

I'm not so sure the rematch will happen. Wlad had just lost his title the knee jerk reaction is to call for a rematch but that's his hurt pride talking. After he has had some time to reflect he may decide it's time to quit. His time has passed, time to leave it to the next generation to carry the torch he has held for so long.

But if the rematch happens Wilder will have to face Povetkin, a fight he is not guaranteed to win. He can't put the fight off any longer after his next voluntary, though I do think he does have a chance against Povetkin.

The idea of Wilder vs Fury for the undisputed heavyweight title would have seemed like someones deranged dream a few years ago. I don't think either man will be a champion 2 years from now, too many good young guns on their way up to avoid.

It's insane that people would prefer Wilder-Povetkin over a Wilder-Fury unification fight. Since when did boxing fans start devaluing unification fights? The winner of Wilder-Fury could easily then go on to fight Povetkin next. Povetkin should take a backseat.
