    I always appreciate your posts...

However, Jersey Joe had one fight at 39 and laid down in the 1st. At 39 Archie proved he couldn't even hang with the small heavies of his day and went in to a very spotty record. Is Vitalis legacy based upon his tepid wins over Charr, Briggs and Chisora? Lummox Lewis was well retired at 39.

It was an OK fight Congrats to Fury he wanted to win and took it not his fault Wlad wouldn't fight. Wlad looked old like he couldn't pull the trigger anymore if he fights again I think that is what we saw and it will show again. After watching how this fight went I am more certain now that Wilder is the next dominant heavyweight champ.

I can't say Wlad hits any harder than Deontay he may but watching Wilder get better that may be all he has over him and again debatable. Deontay can do things Wlad has never done, he can fight on the inside, throws more punches and is willing to mix it up.

Wilder has more athleticism than any heavyweight out there and he is a fighting champion. Fury wants Wilder next or at least he stated such and if it happens Wilder beats him.

Tyson Fury is better than Wlad. At any point this is the case.

I like wlad but perhaps his losing will contribute to the revival of the division. Now you have two young title holders in fury and wilder along with a handful of rising hopefuls. Might be the beginning of a somewhat dynamic heavyweight picture.

Indeed, which is a shame. Wlad looked fine physically, moved very well, and had enough stamina to come on a bit in the final rounds. I'm not convinced that Wlad ever had the heart or ring intelligence to deal with a bigger opponent with Fury's skills and mobility.

There you go again. Something tells me you only recognize skills if you read about them in old Ring magazines or boxing biographies... :bbb Both of these men are more skilled and physically talented than the larger heavies of old, like Carnera and Baer. :good

Neither but both were massively more shots fighters comparatively, Ali carrying a stone of extra fat and Joe carrying 10 pounds of flab and both a shadow of their former selves but still able to show 200% more skill from their memory banks whilst slobbering around on eachother than the most experienced version of Klit who is still in as good a physical shape as he's ever been, if not best due to his perfection of his 'methods' :yep. - ps there are sooooo many other posts you've made on this thread that I wanted to just cry laughing at but I just don't have the time but just to say the whole boxing world now needs to get back to reality and stop just being media fed donkeys and going along with what the media keeps telling you about how masterful this pile is 5h1t Klitschko is was - I've said from day one that the guy is the most over rated heavyweight champ EVER and some idiots on here have been claiming for so long he beats Louis Ali Marciano et al - bull**** a complete lummox like Fury makes him look like a rank amateur get real people lets all hope people start getting back to reality how and boxing can start going places again :happy

Rocky......for the Manilla fight both fighters weighed in five days prior to the fight. The announced weights were as such inflated. Both men were in outstanding condition for their fight in 75.

I absolutely agree with everything else in your last post. Hwts do not know how to technically fight anymore. Fury can't throw a single punch properly and Wlads has no ability to do anything but fight in robotic fashion and hold not just in this fight but every fight.

Kevin understand you have no clue about this sport.....none. Learn how to fight and then come back and show everyone the great abilities of Fury and Wlad. What occurred in the ring tonight was an exclamation point as to the depth hwt boxing has desended to. Neither fighter exhibited amateur level technical ability.

I don't know if it was so much a matter of lack of skill as it was lack of "willingness" to engage.. Particularly on wlad's part. I just watched a replay of the match and he was way too cautious for a man who had to know his title was slipping away from him. He actually got a little bit of work done in the closing moments of round 12 where he landed a few decent shots. Shame he didn't turn up the heat like that earlier.

I don't believe Brother Leon beat any ranked contenders before his big breakthrough, so, he fits Janitor's bill. :D

Fury had a better record than Leon, and would probably have been better h2h.
