I picked for fury on points and my reason was wlads not throwing the right enough but I disagree with you saying about it being a mental thing and more to do with habit
Wlad tends to double jab to fins range before chancing the right.
I picked for fury on points as I didn't think Wlad would throw the right because he has to set up the double jab and fury is a mover which i think offset Wlad, who after throwing the right likes to then hold and lean on his opponent which is something else I guessed he would have trouble with against fury as fury is as big and heavy
I don't think it was a mental thing but more a habit of facing more static targets that let him get in range with the double jab
That's shy I picked fury on points

When did he ever let his hands go? He didn't. He was always a single shotting clinch master.

He was the same as last night , if not worse back in the prime of his career against Sultan Ibragimov.

Klitscko always was overrated and now that myth has been exposed.

You know what was so annoying.
I wanted to do a double with Fury and Degale to both win and the day completely ran away on me.
I was more confident of Fury winning that than Degale who I was also confident about winning, but Fury for the reasons I mentioned, I thought would be a stylistic problem.
Another thing that made me think Fury also was that he didnt allow himself to be controlled in any of the build up, right up to where he said (rightfully in my opinion) he wouldnt fight if he was unhappy with the canvas. He was unhappy about the gloves and didnt just surrender. He didnt have any fear about the whole thing, or at least didnt display any and I thought there that he had a good plan

Wladmir was afraid to let his hands go because he knew he would get knocked spark out by a Fury counter.

That's why he fought like a coward.

His performance belongs next to Seldons and Brunos as one of the worst for a champion defending his belt.

The greatest know how to fight against the grain. Those who aren't quite in the very highest echelon can only fight by their rules.

Look at Ali-Frazier fights for great examples of an ATG producing consistent brilliant boxing against the grain.

This. The man is overly cautious and without the jab being able to dominate his opponent, he looked lost. I don't buy he can't pull the trigger. I buy he "won't" pull the trigger. Too worried about return fire. Wlad will fire when he's fully confident nothing can come back at him.

Once Wlad had to be aggressive, he lost. He doesn't even know how to fight that way in my view.

He just didn't want to get hit, of course nobody wants to get hit but he takes it to levels that make him look frightened.

Watch it again, Fury from round one kept swinging a wide left hand, almost looked slappy at times, he hits Wladimirs right glove with it constantly, Fury wasn't looking to land it, it was letting Wladimir know if he throws the right hand Fury's left hand was coming back at him and that kept Wladimirs right hand at home nearly all night.

Fury kept switching stance, again that was to make Wladimir make a slight adjustment with his feet and stance and Fury again kept touching Wladimirs left gloves with his lead right hand to let Wladimir know if he threw the left hook the right hand was coming back at him.

Fury just kept Wladimir thinking, occupied his mind and Wladimir was so concerned at what might happen if he missed he didn't take a chance and let his hands go.

It was tactically brilliant by Fury and his team, the feints where so important, just occupying Wladimir at all times and that's why Wladimir looked so uncomfortable for so many rounds, he couldn't settle because of the feints, the constant movement of Fury's head and being tapped any time he looked anywhere near set to throw a solid punch.

I am contacting a law firm monday. I don't know how but I have been infected with Teddy Atlas "can't pick em syndrome." I have always backed the Klitschko brothers and still do. However, a rematch will do no good unless he is able to change some fundamental things. He needs to attack Fury as if he has finally found that SOB that stole his puppy and/or insulted his mama. Seriously, approach the next fight with some fire and a serious change or forget it.

In other words, Fury didn't win **** last night and shouldn't be praised at all.
