I noticed until way too late in the fight in the championship rounds Banks finally suggested double jabbing and going to the body. Especially with Fury being a mover, that advice should of have been given since the beginning of the fight. That's how you slow a mover down. Wlad's infighting was pretty weak, too much clinching and hardly any uppercuts or bodyshots. I think Team Klitschko underestimated Fury big time. So Banks did give the right advice, but the timing was just very bad.
Wlad has had 68 professional fights, he's been fighting professionally 19 years. He doesn't need a trainer now. He needs to retire probably.
wlad needs to retire, he has nothing left. fury did squat last night. that was easily the worst combined effort in a title fight in boxing history. made de la hoya vs trinidad look like a barn burner.
Yes. I was wondering where the good advice was early in the fight. Of course, I got up some between rounds so thought I might have missed it. Something else is needed.
The butthurt is real :rofl Any Wlad fight makes De La Hoya vs Trinidad look like a barn burner. Wlad isn't close to shot, Fury is just far far better than the string of undersized hypejobs Wlad has feasted on over the years. Your hero got schooled, in his prime, by a guy that dressed up as batman to the press conference. Deal with it.
No. Wlad is 40 years old. A guy like Fury is going to give this version of Wlad problems EVERYTIME. Wilder will also give Wlad problems. Wlad should fight Fury, probably lose, and take 20 Million and leave boxing.
Hes 39 years old. Hes had 68 professional fights in almost 20 years and was an Olympic champ before that. Hes not learning anything new now
