I agree that HWs of the past were just as well trained - if not more so- and better conditioned in the past. The old methods were not really necessarily inferior to modern methods. Consider that some boxers nowdays balloon up between fights - not exactly the epitome of professionalism is it?

He never touched weights like most heavys back then and focused solely on conditioning. He had a big frame and was very skinny and lean.

Have the boxing fans of the world lost their minds? Having longer reach DOES NOT mean a shorter armed fighter can't hit you. Being bigger does NOT make a fighter a better Hwt. Being bigger does NOT mean you take a good punch to the chin. One solid right hand from 202 pound Joe Louis is enough to knock out any fighter no matter of size. Great boxing skills in no way shape or form were exhibited in the ring last night. Fury does not have amateur level ability as a fighter.
