I don't see Wilder beating Povetkin to be honest. Wilder still looks like someone who just started boxing. I see all kinda holes in WIlders game. Should be a easy fight for Povetkin. Fury beats Povetkin with ease.

He better get Nichols in his camp and learn the vaunted check jab if he has a prayer of beating the Wildman. And Wilder's team better pony up on those buffet vouchers; get Fury all fattened up for the fight so he can't move as well

Apparently, you never watched someone who just started boxing.

There is no reason whatsoever other than bias that people should think this is an easy fight for Povetkin. He's never beaten anyone with Wilder's combination height, reach, speed, power and athleticism. If so who?

Frankly, if it wasn't for the fact that I'm still not 100% confident of Wilder's chin, I'd have no doubt he'd beat Povetkin. Povetkin is great against guys his height and size, or else stationary sitting ducks like Wach. Wilder can easily keep him at the end of the jab and bust him up on the way in. I just don't see Povetkin having the speed to get inside on him. A couple of other guys have gotten in some shots on Wilder, but they were all taller with more reach than Povetkin.

Unless Povetkin can time it perfectly move in on Wilder and land a big bomb, I don't see him winning. Wlad made him look like a clown trying to get inside.

Lets see the big shot wbc champion defend the title against 1 mandatory challenger first. No interest in seeing Wilder fight anybody but the mando for his little trinket belt. Pathetic state of affairs for the sport.

Wilder will be getting smashed off Povetkin before he can even think about a fight with Fury.

Fury wins vs Wilder imho. He's got the bigger dimensions and less glassy jaw.

Question about the IBO, have they ever forced Wlad to fight their mandatory? From my recollection I've never seen them order anything ever. Its like they just give the belt away to whoever the main champion is and just let them roll with it for however long they feel like.

Why are people even mentioning the IBO as though it stood on the same tier of relevance with the rest of all that? :rofl

I agree, but why are people even mentioning Wilder. That guy is the biggest fraud since George Bush.

They're not even a real org. Their HQ is probably the back half of a van, or a storage closet behind a nail salon like Saul Goodman's office. Probably just one guy who moonlights as used car salesman.

Yeah but he does happen to hold the WBC belt, which is always going to be relevant.

There is no reason to not be saying merely WBC-WBA-WBO-IBF-RING when discussing a possible unification. Legitimizing the IBO by putting them up there with the rest is actually insulting to all the others.

To be fair. Having more than one is insulting to boxing. They are all blood sucking vultures trying to make as much money as possible. Like many have said before me, I think need to go back to the old days of boxing and only have 1 champion.
