Yeah you're right, there was contact. Fury did ride with it otherwise it would have been a lot worse. Wlad showed he will be dirty to try to win. That's awful.

 

Having an elbow shoved in your face all night is a legitimate reason to be frustrated, at least Ortiz has a case for it whether you believe he personally did it for that reason or not.

Wlad did it simply because he was getting outclassed, his pride was hurt and he showed his lack of class that he'd resort to this to "get one" on Fury when he couldn't do it fairly. This is why I compared it to that Grant KO.

 

The thing is with Ortiz is he wasn't doing that bad, he was actually being competitive in spots it's just he couldn't handle being under the spotlight in a fight so big with Floyd. He's mentally weak.

 

That difference continues to elude IB.

 

I saw the use of the head at the time it happened and I agree it was frustration but it as also so cowardly.

Tony Weeks performance was without doubt the worst refereeing I've seen for a long time.
Not once did he even warn Wladimir for persistently turning back and just ignored the blatant headbutt attempt.

I think Klitschko felt a mile behind and deep down knew he was a mile behind and was half thinking about getting DQ'd, a way out of a fight he knew he wasn't going to win.

Klitschko plays this Gentleman card but it's an act and that's why Wladimir was on Twitter saying he was "suffering" because he knows his performance was embarrassing and the way he behaved in the fight was embarrassing.

Wladimir is all about ego and his has been battered.

 

Have to agree, and added to that the disgraceful antics with the gloves, the ring, the wraps, it paints the Klits in a bad light. Fury's conference back in the UK shed some more light on the bull**** they tried to pull. Literally called them cheats and willing to do anything to win. I know people found it funny when he said he was afraid of having his drinks spiked with a banned substance, but I don't think it's that far fetched.

Btw, watch the Hatton fight. Cortez is like "watch that elbow" all fight but in the end does nothing about it lol. Floyd's rules...

 

Anyone who's seen more than two Mayweather fights knows he shoves it in his opponent's face, I'm very surprised IB is not aware of it.
