I went on Kell Brooks Twitter page to ask him if he's still frightened of King khan and I happen to find a bunch of retweets from him about a fight with Bradley being done. A unification fight. Will be a good fight but a good way of avoiding king khan if you ask me.

You know, I'm a fan of Kell Brook, I think he's got unbelievable talent, but Hearn and co. talk a lot of **** about fights that don't end up happening, so I'll believe this one when they do the press conference for it.

Think he's more than capable of beating Bradley btw, and he'd slaughter Khan.

I assume you're joking/trolling about this being a way to duck Khan. Good on both Brook and Bradley if this fight is actually happening. Trying to prove you're the best by unifying titles is what I like to see.

NO, simply standard Brook team procedure, mention big name fight **** fighter...until he does step up this talk is meaningless.

Porter is a very capable fighter and Kell schooled him in his own backyard. That's stepping up. The opponents have been poor since winning the title though, it has to be said. Expecting big things in 2016. If the big fights don't happen, then he's just squandering a significant talent.

Bradley has become the super gatekeeper of sorts.

Poor since winning the title, but prior to that they were good :think
Porter is hard to beat cause he is rough fighter, doesnt give up but he is far from highly skilled fighter B level fighter, and it wasnt schooling at all, close but clear win for Brook.(100 year old Mosley schooling Porter in sparring tell you a lot about his "skills") Brook is pro for 12 years one B level win in 12 years is to little.

You have to be careful about who you blame for these things though. A fighter rely's on his team to set up fights. They also rely on the opposition being willing/reasonable.

It was an absolute schooling. Porter's abrasive, aggressive style made it look closer than it was, he was taken apart, landed little and could have been stopped late on if Brook went for it. Brook's skill level is quite high, which is what makes the lack of big fights frustrating. I take your point on his resume, which is not very impressive, but again very few British fighters go to America and take on what was, as you've said yourself, a very tough opponent, and take the belt home. Deserves credit for that. We'll see what happens in 2016. If there's no big fights you'd have to think there's some confidence issue with him.

Thats just excuse, if you want to face the best you will do it, Froch also did business with Hearn but faced the best, Degale is with Hearn he faces far better fighters than Brook etc 12 years is to long to blame others especially in 147 division full with decent fighters, Brook is in position of being relevant only in UK thats why he has to beg Amir for fight cause no one outside of Uk knows who he is, and he has only himself to blame.

He has good skills, far from amazing but hew is big big welter which helps him, there is talk of his weight problems once he goes to 154 he is done, Canelo knocks him out, Lara schools him etc

This is just a rumour to try and stop boxing fans turning on Brook after Kevin Bizier is announced.

Then in a few months times they will say "we tried but Bradley wanted too much money" and "the WW division is stacked so there are other big names".

Then they try again to deflect from anybody asking if Brook is actually going to fight anybody remotely decent and will offer Khan another chance to fight Brook. Khan will turn it down and Hearn will say "we are trying to make big fights but nobody wants to fight Kell".

Followed by another poor opponent, probably Jo Jo Dan II, PPV because Hearn will be on IFL TV saying "Kell is an unbeaten world champion, he is a star and we all know stars are PPV".

That takes Brook to about summer next year and then he will get injured and be inactive for 2-3 months and need a "tune up" before a "huge fight announcement" and we won't hear a thing until next November/December and it will be "Brook Vs Bradley is a real possibility for 2017"

And we do it all again.
