I think what he's trying to say is fighting an opponent who weighs above 154 and at or below 160 will get you ranked at middleweight. Obviously fighting an opponent at 130 won't do anything for your middleweight ranking. Ergo, Canelo has been fighting at middleweight his last four fights, and as the lineal champion at middleweight who has fought at middleweight for the last year and a half, it's absurd for him to argue that he's too small for the division and requires a handicap.
ROFLMAO In the ring against Cotto Canelo was a minimum of 170 probably closer to 175 Its pure BullFeces to say he's not a middleweight. Canelo just needs to step up & be a manatsch
No minimum, ok sure, but I'm assuming most boxers aren't complete morons coming in at 140 for a middleweight title. Congrats you showed me. My comment was much more stupid than saying a dude weighing 155 isn't a middleweight. He sure as **** isn't a JMW now is he?
Henry Armstrong and Caterino Garcia once battled for the middleweight title, weighing 142 and 153.5 respectively. :smoke
No, genius, if Canelo is 155, he's a MW. And GGG is a MW if he's 160. As Rummy pointed out, Canelo can come in at 149 if he wants. But if he's defending the MW title, his opponent can come in at 160.
