    Amateurs =/= pros. :nono

    Don't forget that shot, Euro-level, tiny-ass LukᚠKonečný (of whom I was a big fan in his day, but let's be real) managed to pound Quillin's face quite a bit and earn his respect with his career-super-welterweight pop.

    I agree with that what I mean is this though people pick and choose when it means something. People say the winner won't really be a Champ but at the same time we're praising this MW record when in 15 fight's 9-10 of them were in defense of the same belt people say isn't legit for these two.

    I was just trying to see if there was any consistency on the matter, although if this turns into a troll thread my bad.

    There are question marks on Quillin's, too! (and Jacobs is the sharper and more accurate, if not exactly heavier, puncher)

    Lee dropped him pretty hard and scrambled his circuits (Peter later went on record saying he blacked out and had no memory of the knockdown) - and even though it was his first KD suffered in his career other, lesser opponents have gotten his respect or stunned him a bit.

    Could we see the MW version of Wlad-Fury? Both guys got glass jaws, they both don't seem to like getting hit. I mean Quillin fought like a coward against Rosado of all people.

    If a pure boxing match, both overly tentative - advantage Jacobs.

    Yeah he did get dropped by Lee, but if that were he'd still be hearing parakeets.

    Hopefully it's a better fight than the last battle for Brooklyn. "Judah-Maliginaggi.

    :yep

    That wasn't so bad, considering the point in their careers they both were at.

    Jacobs and Quillin are prime. :thumbsup

    I think Jacobs will outbox Quillin and win every round but eventually get caught and knocked out. Who knows though Jacobs is fast accurate and can punch wouldn't be crazy if he KO'd Quillin. But im picking Quillin by ko and hoping Jacobs wins.

    I wonder will Quillin miss the weight again?
    He really is a mess.

    Pretty hard to care about this fight.

    Both guys in their 30's and haven't looked good against their best competition.
