Degale's pretty clearly the best in the division. He beat Dirrell without getting out of first gear. That he dominated and stopped a top 10 guy in Periban who Jack, Love, and Bika barely s****ed by against shows a lot. He can box at range, he's slick inside, he's got a great boxing brain, and sneaky power.

He doesn't need to beat Bute and Jack to prove his dominance in the division either. Beating them will be pretty much cleaning out the division he's already the top fighter in.

Abraham, with DeGale a close second.

DeGale is the best and he would paddle Abraham's ass something silly.

The best guy Abraham has fought let alone beaten since 2011 is either Robert Stieglitz or Martin Murray. Other than those 2 he's been facing low level opposition and he's struggled against quite a few of those opponents and been the recipient of 3 or 4 controversial decisions, IIRC. He's a nice guy but he just hasn't been as impressive up at 168 as he was when he was down at 160. His KO percentage up at SMW is very poor too. I wouldn't be at all surprised if DeGale stopped him.
