Mc gregor is as real as it gets and more talented than the fighters you listed.. he is not beating weak opposition like Rousey and when he beats Aldo will be pound for pound number 1..
I think it would be really bad for the UFC if Conor loses A lot of the stars speak Portuguese or are not that controversial and dont cause much buzz A guy like Edgar was an awesome fighter to watch but he wasnt a personality Rousey drew fans and McGregor could be a star in the making due to his divisiveness Who else really is a crossover star I like Lawler he is an exciting and mean fighter, I couldnt tell you what his voice sounds like though
Laughable. McGregor would have gotten rag dolled and stopped, if Mendes had more than two weeks to train.
McGregor is good obviously, but the Mendes fight showed he can be hit, can be taken down, seems comfortable on his back yet makes no effort to escape.....against a guy with what, a 12 day camp? Beating a midget, half shot heavy bag in Siver isn't great comp. Beating Poirer was ok yet he's relatively drained at that weight. Aldo would be an easy pick a while back, especially after seeing the first round of mcgregor-mendes. He's beaten all the top operators at the weight, and is undeniably great, but constant recurring injuries might have taken a toll at this point. And there is a distinct size difference, as conor walks around in the 170-175 range .

Yeah probably should've used a different word. Definitely did not mean comfortable as in he's technically sound there....morseo that there was no panic or sense of urgency. He basically rode out the time on his back, quite matter of factly, content to ride it out hoping to get back to the feet, while being worked. Had Mendes gotten the benefits if a full camp, and subsequently a full gas tank, it might have been different.
