Seriously who is wilder fighting?

Glazkov still has an offer on the table (and has had for a few weeks) but was waiting to see on the mandatory. Main Events says they are still considering Wilder and will make a decision within a few days.

If he bypasses that offer, perhaps Arreola ... and Stiverne is already in training for a spot on the same Jan. 16 card.

 

Povetkin already got rid of him in three rounds. Pointless fight.

I like Wilder. I've come to the conclusion he's probably one of the most fun to watch HW's.
I'm a big critic of how soft he has been matched though, and therefore not a big fan of his handlers who seem to be over cautious.
He'll be better off with good opposition.
I think he is still improving too, but fear 35 fights of bad ingrained habits may be too late to fix completely.

Yeah as sanctioned by the WBC , They'd give me a ranking if I paid enough.

Wilder would do well to avoid any actual fighters.

 

Less than 2 months out, no opponent announced.... It's the Wilder MO.... Selected overmatched opponent, and then to make matters worse give them as little time as possible to prepare. Saw this coming from a mile away. Wilder is a joke.

 

Give Hughie Fury proper time for preparation, don't throw out some ridiculous cheap lowball offer on short notice, beleive me 1000 percent Hughie would give Wilder a rather sensational boxing lesson.

 

^Probably has USADA doing his drug testing, so they don't actually start testing until the fight is announced. He's a user and he has alot of nerve accusing Povetkin of the same.

Prolly gonna fight Szpikla, who could actually win because Wilder's so fragile.

 

I'd be surprised if he chose Szpilka... It's a decent fight but high risk- low reward. Szpilka can crack and is no without skill.. Like Wilder his chin is **** though. Whoever lands first with a solid shot would probably win. I don't think Wilders team would risk it.

Interesting theory. It is suspicious that he consistently gives his opponent such short notice. I had heard that the Glazkov fight was signed but now ppl backtracking. Either way fact that it was NOT signed several weeks ago it's now another opponent with short notice whoever it may be.

 

Yeah either his handlers don't want his opponents to be properly prepared or he's got something to hide with the chemicals or both. Either would be a big advantage for Wilder and it's very sketchy.

 

The Wilder fanboys will be around to defend this shortly...... There is no defending announcing fights last minute and giving your opponent very little time to prepare when you're champion. Wilder is a disgrace.

 

That's also been part of his MO.... Call someone out and when they respond remain silent. A couple of months ago there was talk of Jennings/Wilder, but nothing came of it so Jennings booked a fight with Ortiz.
