Read my other posts. It doesn't fundamentally alter anything I said. If he beats Wlad again, that puts him closer to Vitali, but still way back (quite easy to say, I think mostly unfairly, that Wlad was just shot for both fights). If Fury beats Wlad again, beats the WBC belt holder, and beats, say, Anthony Joshua, then you've at least got enough of a body of work to make a credible argument. IMO, he needs to do all those things and much more, but at least its not patently absurd on its face, like it is right now (or after he beats Wlad again, if he does).
Its a meaningful part of a fighters body of work. PS. watch the fight again. Vitali was already recovering when Corrie grabbed him and tripped him. MMA takedown's don't count as kd's in boxing.
So 2 wins over wlad does not come close to - not being knocked down - defending the title against sosnowski - only holding a trinket belt - losing his two biggest fights
Pathetic. That's like me talking about Tyson and saying "so beating a few washed up guys who'd already lost a bunch during the drugged out late 80's really equals beating Wlad twice?". Weasel words that completely ignore the great body of work a heavyweight does really aren't very persuasive to your argument.
I think most people will realise a fighter has a poor resume when my being knocked down (when he was) counts. Hey, Vitali was a tough awkward guy. No doubt. But he lost his big chance to the worst version of Lewis. He quit when the going got tough against Byrd. Tyson Fury beat a man he went life an death with, not only twice, but easier. If Fury gets the second win against Wlad, which no doubt he will, he is streets ahead of Vitali in terms of quality. It can't be argued. Sorry.
Vitali's resume >>>>>>> Fury's resume. Prime Vitali would have smashed Fury to pieces. Actually, he'd beat him now via decision.
I'm sure you would have also been saying last week that wlad was going to smash Tyson. What we do know about Vitali however, is that the two times he faced anyone on Tysons level in his career he was stopped
Uh, no, as you prove, anything can be argued. However, your side can't be effectively argued. Answers above
Wow. That fat childlike version of fury beat chisora much easier than Vitali. Say what you want about those German scorecards, but Vitali really struggled. Saved his career against Byrd? Come on man. Look at Danny Williams. Much worse injury, proceeded to ko his opponent. Vitali pulled out because Byrd was making him miss, in turn he ripped his shoulder to pieces and thought he was losing. He quit because he wimped out. Lewis smashed Vitali up. Don't get me wrong vits looked amazing against adamek, Briggs and sosnowski.
I reckon you would get MANY people argue that Byrd was better than Peter and sanders?? Are you crazy?? Haha. Jesus Byrd is probably wlads best win.
Wow, its funny how you keep trying, but keep failing. You're struggling more in this than either Fury or Vitali ever did against Del Boy. Answers above.
By your (faulty) logic, Sanders should be much better than Byrd. After all, he beat Wlad. I should make a thread saying how Buster Douglas has a better resume than Muhammad Ali. After all, Mike Tyson was prime, at his peak, and a better ATG than anyone Ali ever beat.
Wow klit****s are really reeling from the furious win Never would they have thought fury would be better h2h than wlad, and a better resume than Vitali Wow
