Good amateur(Had a win over Ryoto Murata and was an Olympian) and had built a record of 15(13)-0, and then just seemed to vanish 2 years ago.

    Anybody know anything about him?

Affirmitive Action for others, is the reason his career is being stalled.

Ward is afraid to fight him, and both Ward and Estrada are promoted by Goosen.

Besides, TPTB ("The Powers That Be", for example Governments, Boxing Authorities, Illuminati, etc.) don't want another Mexican to dominate and make it to the top, because of jealousy of Mexican accomplishments.

Just look at how much criticism Julio C Chavez and his son Jr. get all the time, and now Canelo gets bashed a lot.

In the past Mexico used to have lots of legends and superstars in boxing, leaving foreigner boxers nearly extinct, so now TPTB don't want Estrada to wipe out the Super Middleweight & Light Heavyweight divisions, so TPTB are stalling his career.

But the way I see it, boxing shoots itself in the foot, because they're missing out on his entertaining knockout boxing style.

TPTB screwed with Mexicans-Antonio Margarito, Saul Alvarez, Humberto Soto's careers, and look what happened, they're getting shitty FIXED FIGHTS aiding Floyd, Pac, to bull**** gift wins in FIXED FIGHTS.

Estrada had/has knee problems. If Im not mistaken, he did have surgery on his knee. Estrada also has been active in the political spectrum, ran for city council years ago.

I seem to recall everytime I read about him he was nursing some kind of injury. Some people just have a bad run and lose the passion for it.

"Manos de Oro" makes his comeback on the 20th of November in California.

    Good to see.

Likes to put on weigh inbetween fights. Not dedicated enough! Weighed at 192 and 185 for his last two fights, for someone whose meant to be a supermiddle.

I remember seeing DeGale paddle his ass in the Olympics. I recorded it on VHS when it was first broadcast and I think I might even still have it on one of my hard drives somewhere.

...three years ago that might have been a damning condemnation of Estrada's chances at being a legit pro contender (ignoring the big grain of salt that should be taken when interpreting amateur results as they relate to provide boxing); now, it doesn't look so bad with how far DeGale has climbed...

Estrada actually looked pretty good in the handful of pro fights I saw of his. Looked like he packed a big punch too.
