The reason Wlad didn't throw was because he was afraid to get countered, I would have told him "mate you gotta pick it up because this is unacceptable" and gave him a warning. It's not running but it's nonetheless unwillingness to engage.

If you don't agree with that example, cool, then focus on the others and not just pick on one thing in the whole thread and then babble on with the elitist BS.

Should running as you describe it be against the rules? If it is, why aren't they warned more often and why is it not enforced more, how many times have you seen it happen with the whole arena booing yet nothing from the ref?

I'm sure it can be done, the reason it hasn't is probably because there hasn't been a need for it.

So what you're saying is, Wladimir should ignore all strategies especially when he can clearly see his opponent waiting to counter and simply throw away brainlessly or else get warned?. That's like saying during a chess game "What the hell are you waiting for?, stop the thinking and just move everything around or else you will get disqualified!".

Do you even realize that it takes setting up your opponent to be able to throw and land the right punches and when your opponent isn't allowing you to do so then it means he has you figured out and you're losing?.

There's no shame in being clueless, but to carry on blabbering simply means you're stupid.

Yeah and guess what, if he can't make up his mind in 10 hours I'm disqualifying the player.

And here we go again with this, I said before if you don't agree with this let's focus on the other instances but you can't just drop it can you?

Then that's exactly why the likes of you will only judge and disqualify behind the comfort of a device. You need a proper understanding of the sport to be able to officiate and set rules accordingly.

This isn't a matter of agreeing or disagreeing, it's a matter of you saying things that are totally baseless and false. I'll gladly disagree or agree if you were making legitimate points that I didn't personally accept. You're simply making junk points about a sport you don't even know much about.

And here come the ad hominems, this is a pathetically bitter post. You know why I'll never judge or referee a fight? How about because I have zero interest in doing so?

Rest assured though, if I did, the sport would be far better for it instead of on its knees like it is now.

Enough is enough with the clinching and running to appease to elitist idiots such as yourself who want to brag about how they understand the "game" or whatever garbage, it's only bringing the sport down.

If you get hit and you are in a serious trouble then you have to run away to survive that round. It's a human instinct.

However, if you don't come to fight and try to run all night so it should be disqualifiable. Mosley vs Pacquiao was one example of this kind of running.

Comparatively speaking, there was A LOT more action and clean punches thrown/landed in the May vs Pac fight.

I think boxers who don't cut off the ring should be deducted points for lack of fundamentals.

You make it seem like cutting off the ring against the guy who doesn't want to engage and knows how to avoid a fight is the easiest thing in the world.

It's like when people blamed Povetkin for being clinched by Wlad.

:patsch Running is ****ing myth, let me tell you why! If fighter knows how to cut the ring off(watch GGG) opponent can not run, its ring not football field. So boxers should learn how to cut the ring off and not fallow in straight lines like mummy!!!
WLad true doesnt throw you cant DQ him but dont let him clinch take point away so he will have to fight...
