    ...All this talk about Wlad closing in on Loius' and Holmes' records is garbage. Louis and Holmes defended the LINEAL HW title. The REAL and LEGIT HW title. A title that Wlad didn't win until he beat Povetkin - which gives Wlad exactly *3* defenses of the HW title. And all of those defenses were against BUM, STIFFS, TOMATO CANs, No Hopers and NEVER WEREs. Any talk of Wlad as an alleged "ATG" @ HW is unfounded. Wlad never did anything to separate himself from the pack. He never beat a great HW. He's no ATG. Period, end of.

    He was the man when he beat Byrd and everyone knew it. Even if you disagree there he won the title off Chagaev in 09 which is still a 6 yr run and 10 or so defenses nothing too shabby

    I've been saying the same thing for YEARS. Fury's victory was great and I'm not trying to take anything from him. I like Fury and look forward to him knocking out the little Klit and ridding us of him for good.

    1 vs 3 or 1 vs 2 if im correct

    Same way any champ gets a title when there isnt an incumbent to take it from

    even in the old days they wouldnt wait to crown a new champ with such tight criteria

    Where did Povetkin get his title from in order for Wlad to win it? And btw lineal HW title went vacant when Vitali retired in 2004, and Wlad became "the man" when he beat Byrd. Unless you're saying the lineage didn't exist for a decade, you're completely talking out of your ass, as always.
