will come down to PR. With a good run up Matchroom and Sky would give it so much publicity I reckon they could do..........just not sure if Mick Hennessy could do the same unless he gets Sky to broadcast again

It's not possible because the fight wasn't amazing and isn't going to be amazing ever because of their styles

now if it was Fury vs the big brother Vitali who was coming out of retirement for revenge

then yes, 80k would have been possible

With Sky's promotion behind it, it could fill Wembley easily.

Only 55,000 inside the stadium for the Groves v Froth fight but 80,000 tickets sold. The touts were collectively left with 25,000 pieces of paper.:lol:

After the Saturday stonker, I cannot see any large demand for this fight in the UK and the Pay per Poo should also flop due to the non event on Sat.

It will be explosive roared Tyson Fury - yes we also heard the same dross before Saturday so people know the rematch will be another pile of shyte.

Dusseldorf stadium far from full with the backing of Sky and German TV

Allegedly you get bona fide boxing fans on here (there ain't that many)

For a fight to become a huge draw it has to attract the wider audience and catch the imagination of the wider public

From people I know (football fans mainly I've not heard a bad thing said about Fury or his performance etc)

The over critical boxing officianado types on this foum aren't the wider public and aren't the ones who sellout boxing shows

It's sports fans looking for a good night out who latch onto something like fights like this

    IMO

Would be great if they both knocked out George Groves in front of those 80.000 people :ko

Can you imagine Froch's ego after people stop saying "Froch in front of 80,000 at Wembley..." and instead start saying "Fury for the lineal HW title in front of 80,000 at Wembley" cause no one remembers Froch. Oh that would hurt him.

Fresh off Terror attacks though, I think that played a role. People are still **** scared in the area around Belgium. Dusseldorf is just 90 minutes away.

No way does that fight do 80,000 unless it has a cracking undercard
