I'd give Floyd more than 90% chance against any of those guys with the exception of Hopkins who was probably just too big.
Oscar didn't just stop throwing the jab for some reason. Floyd was actually out-jabbing Oscar through the 1st 6 rounds, and Oscar stopped throwing it, because Floyd began countering over the jab with right hands.
Ike Quartey I agree with. That would be a tough match up. Pea was old af.. Floyd doesn't lose to that version of Pea. Trinidad fight would like De La Hoya/Trinidad except Floyd wouldn't run the last 4 rounds of the fight. Floyd would always kick Shane's ass. There's a reason he had to go to the dentist back in 2005-06 when Floyd said he would fight Shane as a warm up fight for De La Hoya and he would never fight Hopkins.. Because he isn't a middleweight. Correct. :hi::hi:
Never failed a test and the IV thing was approved. Also every respected credible source had him as number one. I guess it doesn't matter if you think he can't be number one since he in fact was number one.
Bhop would probably beat him. Quartey would be tough and Sturm interesting because of his size. Pac fight would be much more interesting than the actual fight was but would favour Floyd to still take it, I just think styles-wise he matches up well with Pac. Similar with Shane, much more competitive but would make Floyd 60-40 favourite. Think he could out maneuver Tito to a decision and feel comfortable that Floyd would beat the versions of Whitaker and Chavez that Oscar fought.
based on what? floyd drew with oscar when they fought.. what makes you think oscar wouldn't beat him if he was much younger? oscar has a better jab and in his prime his punch placement and selection was better than floyd's as well.
you think that at 135, 140, or 147 Oscar could beat Floyd? I doubt Floyd would ever lose to any version of Oscar! Floyd is levels above Oscar in talents and skill, even at a weight Floyd has never fought and all stipulations in Oscar's favor he still couldn't beat Floyd.
absolutely! oscar had better performances against much better competition. i rewatched the oscar fight earlier today at 3:47 and i scored it a draw. this is the 7th time i've watched that fight and i had it scored a draw every single time and i'm not the only one. when it came on ppv back in 2007 i didn't know that much about boxing or scoring but i thought oscar won. but i rewatched it and couldn't give the win to either fighter and it's the same result every time
explain why then oscar ducked Floyd when he called him out at those weights? the only reason oscar did as well as he did against floyd was because of the weight advantage at those weights they would range about the same mayweather too was a much better fighter at 135-140, even 147 how do you expect oscar to beat him?
