lol prime oscar beats the hell out of everyone on floyd's resume besides pacquiao and mosley(even though i scored the fight for de la hoya). he would beat floyd as well. he'd make easy work out of all of them, he'd beat them in better fashion than floyd did lmaooooo every top fighter who has a common opponent of floyd seems to be able to beat them a lot worst than floyd did.
Already beat a better version of Mosley in the rematch just got robbed of the decison the rest prime Osar knocks them the f out ..Floyd's resume is one of the most fluffiest in all of boxing ..
I concur. I'm a bit uncertain of that part as well. I would say prime DLH > prime Mayweather. I don't think aged Mayweather's opposition was that great, but he maintained fairly well. I kind of think the young hungry lions of this generation are not as well rounded as previous generations. The ABC belts and promotional companies complicated things as well. However given all that aged Mayweather still looked pretty impressive. I would say aged Mayweather > aged DLH.
Oscar's biggest win is Fernando Vargas, every other "big" fight of his was a loss, or a controversial decision he should of loss
Really??? I can't understand the way you people think. I do think I might know how to talk to you about the real world. Ok so you think Oscar was "robbed" so let's rephrase the question can Oscar go through Floyd's resumes without OFFICIALLY losing??
I agree, DLH lost his most biggest fights, but one has to concede every one of those fighters DLH lost to were in their prime and of higher caliber than any fighter Mayweather has faced. Trinidad, Mosley, Hopkins, prime Pacquiao....... Who in Mayweather's resume even comes close to matching the level of fighter of any one of these fighters DLH lost to???? I reckon that Mayweather's best win was vs Canelo. Whether it be Canelo, Castillo or the version of Cotto that Mayweather faced, none of these guys are better fighters than those guys I listed DLH lost to. NONE!!!
Corrales, Castillo, Casamayor, all good fighters but just not at the level of Trinidad, Mosley, Pacquiao, Hopkins.....they are simply well below that level, well below. ......I will concede about Pacquiao. I honestly don't think any version of DLH beats Pacquiao. The one thing that Pacquiao is one of the best ever at is taking away the left hook of a fighter who's bread and butter is and relies primarily on that hook. DLH, MAB, Cotto, and Hatton......these four are basically one handed fighters who don't have much of a right hand to speak of. Pacquiao went through all of them like they were rank amatuers, just dissected and dismantled each and every one of those happy hookers. I really have my doubts whether even a prime DLH can beat the fading and KTFO6 version of Pacquiao that Mayweather faced. Pacquiao is just a master at taking away a fighters left hook, and if you don't have a right hand to speak of, he's going to dominate. The one fighter on Mayweathers resume I wouldn't favor DLH to beat is Pacquiao. I believe that!
thays the thing, Floyd did not fight Maidana, Cotto, Canelo or Pacquiao in his prime, so could past prime ODLH beat them too?
Oscar De La Hoya is GREATER than Floyd Mayweather: http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=537628 Floyd Mayweather is just a PED guzzling dirtbag. Just accept this. Who has a T/E ratio of a 127.5 year old man when you only have to lose 4lbs maximum (in a weight division where people usually lose 20lbs) and have done this for '19 years'? F'koutta here.
