First of all I'm totally in favour of mandatoties being enforced regularly and lambast the wBC for what's happening with wilder and the wba for letting ward go 6 years without facing a mandatory However fury was ibf champ 2 days before starting to enforcing purse bids, that's insane tbh. Especially when the bigger picture is a 50 million pound mega fight between wlad and fury. It feels like Duva has got the ibf on her side and is trying to squeeze them for step aside money but it's all a joke and I'm in favour of mandatorits Uts like the world doesn't want fury to be champion . Wilder will get a year and a half and 3 voluntary defenses , fury gets 2 days before enforcing purse bids and has to face his mandatory straight away despite their being a mega fight to be made
Exactly and I'm sure the ibf will earn a lot more from a 50 million mega fight than from glaskov vs some bum for a purse bid of 500.
Guys like Ward get to keep their titles without proper defenses for years, whereas the rest are stripped as soon as they win it sometimes.

The boxing organisations seem to go from extremes. Why not enforce mandatories within a year unless unification / rematch with old champion.
