Spike looks lost to me when they come face to face but none of this matters that much when the bell goes. It might just be Spike knows he isn't going to out talk Jr so he just goes quiet. Jr is rather well spoken and quick witted,
Another cork sportsman Roy Keane was no great talker either...but when the match starts he was a terror. It's the same with spike...he is a real tough nut. I don't think cej realises the situation he is in with spike..he could get caught out here...
The "Gloves are Off" series will become a farce if they start doing it for every single fight with a bit of tension in it. Save it for the big world title fights IMO. What next, Frankie Gavin and Sam Eggington talking about their ferocious two month beef?
The gloves are off shows usually have some decent exchanges in there....all about getting the casual to click that all important buy button. Spike's two biggest career tests were coming up short by some distance against BJS and avoiding that flying stool after the Fitzgerald fight. He will have to really dig deep against CEJ who is levels above for me.

Spike looks incredibly manufactured in my opinion, talks a lot of rash then in person he is like a mouse, tries to play the nice guy in front of the cameras which is incredibly fake after he has made so many bad comments in the past. With Eubank, love him or hate him he is always the same, same cant be said for Spike.
Spike is a bit like Roy Keane. He did the pr stunts to get the fight. What you are seeing now is spikes real personality. He is quiet...almost shy...but don't be fooled ...he is silent but violent....as hopefully we will see once the bell rings. Cej is clearly upset about spikes Twitter attacks, he is the one reacting to the past. Spike is focussed on the future.
I havent read any comments regarding what spike said online to eubank, wouldnt anyone get upset to get abuse online for a few years from a fellow boxer? Its like haye with the cut off head of the Klit prior the fight, I really rate haye as a boxer but dont like those antics. Do the talking in the ring.
