    Mines is always very interchangeable but roughly (I'll include Fitz and Lewis) I have.

    7. Jack Kid Berg

    Nice list.

    I usually have Buchanan top 5 but because I'm such a huge fan I tend to underrate him to not seem biased. In terms of technical skill I have Conteh, Buchanan and Lewis as my top 3. Wilde is also outstanding on film.

    I can't believe I forgot Jim Driscoll. This makes my list easier as I don't have to ponder over the n10 spot. I would have Driscoll much lower than 10 though.

    Hamed is a complete no go for me. He only faced one great fighter and lost convincingly. He's technically inept as well. I wouldn't have him in my top 15 even though I loved watching him in his day. He just doesn't cut it for me

    Other than that great list.

    have you seen buchanan outpointing donato puduano ??? buchanan's boxing was Amazing and the best display i've ever seen

    I heard great things about that Buchanan display vs Puduano but when I eventually received the footage of the fight It was of such poor quality I couldn't even tell who was who lol. I maybe got trolled on that occasion though 😁.

    Cheers, I could do this list again in 2 weeks and it would be completely different but it is what it is.

    Ted Kid Lewis at number 1 was primarily down to having so many fights. He drew with the Jewish American Benny Leonard who is raved about as being the best lightweight of all time along with Duran so not a bad pick.

    Lennox easy in there and Buchanan was tremendous, no shame in losing to Duran.

    Calzaghe is brilliant maybe lacking some names or bigger risks but no doubting his pedigree.

    Conteh on another day would be on the list, great ability.

    Nasseem Hamed just lacking that all time great fighters status as he should have done more with his career, no doubting his ability though.

    I put Froch on the list as he would have faced anyone from any era. He has a record to be proud of yet in their day, Eubank, Benn and Watson probably all would have beat him.

    Froch is the latest fighter to retire as a British great. Before that was Calzaghe and possibly Ricky Hatton.

    Who from the current British crop still fighting do you see joining this list?

    To be honest I fell out of love with modern boxing a few years ago so I would be guessing. I prefer watching older era's with a few beers 😁. Back when I was watching current boxing I was mostly a fan of the gritty domestic guys like John Simpson.

    To the question, I think it's to early to tell who our next great will be. I really like Frampton if he's considered a Brit. I think Tyson Fury is going to be very hard to dethrone. I love Fury's character and he is a lot better than he looks. Brook and Khan just aren't active enough.

    I like the look of Josh Taylor. I think he will be Scotland next great boxer and a potential great Brit.
