Lol those wins are ****. Losses count but Geale only has two losses - one war against the guy who was competitive with Martinez, no shame in that, second against Mundine who is a good fighter.

Wins count even more and Geale has got the better wins.

    Geale > Quillin...

Eh, I think it far more likely that Jacobs refuses the fight as opposed to the other way around.

Jacobs has the handspeed advantage, is the better boxer, has legit KO power @ 160 and Bumlovkin is there to be hit. I don't think Jacobs is the kind of problem that Team Triple Duck, who will be *34* when they get back into the ring, wants to tangle with at this stage. They're gonna avoid Jacobs like the Plague...

Geale's win over Sturm actually surpasses anything on GGG's resume even.

We'll see. I'm going to be paying attention to the noise, or lack thereof, coming out of camp Triple Duck over the next week...

GGG can fight Jacobs as a stay busy fight while waiting on Canelo's ***** to drop.

I think Quillin would be the second best to Geale who was a former unified MW Champ. Even though Quillin is a duck he could/should arguably still be WBO Champ today.

Murray is best known for losing to top fighters, make any excuse you want he has no top level WIN.
Lemieux's claim to fame is winning a vacant title bs a guy Quillin dropped 6 times a few yrs before, and lost his title as soon as he won it.

Unless you're ready to rate Darren Barker over Daniel Geale then you have NO argument. LOSES COUNT, Genius...

    Quillin > Geale

    He's the better boxer? :huh

Based off what? GGG has the better amateur career (really isn't even close despite what the shotime crew was saying) and has the better overall pro career. GGG is a few years older, but really doesn't mean anything.

Power advantage goes to GGG, and it goes without saying that GGG has the way superior chin.

This isn't to say that Jacobs is a bum now, because he's not he's actually a very good boxer, but GGG is on another level, and I hope they do fight so he can prove it

The guy had already proved his level. You are basing your opinion completely on hindsight? There's no chance that Jacobs is pretty good and capitalized on an early opportunity? Quillin is who he was, he's no worse of a fighter today than he was 24 hrs ago. He just got caught. It happens.

How did he prove it? His BEST win is N'dam.. Before that he was competitive against bums like Rosado. To me he wasn't proven at all and the first time he stepped in with a good guy he folded like a chair.

I'm not taking credit away from Jacobs either, Jacobs is a good fighter but let's be honest, he's not THAT good. It was more to do with Quillin never being what he was made out to be.

Jacobs doesn't have holes in his defense like Bumlovkin does because Jacobs is the better boxer.

Jacobs just first round TKO'ed the legit #2 rated MW in the world - something Bumlovkin has never done.

Amateur records mean less than nothing in the professional ranks.

Sure thing but power is not the end all be all...

    Not based on resume..

Who was Sturm at that point?
Hadn't he had a bunch of losses and hiding out in Germany at that point?

The prototypical EUROBUM whose claim to fame was getting robbed in the de la Hoya fight.
