It's because there is no real Lounge for people to vent in that threads get hijacked into different avenues.

If you think about it when gaddafi and hussein were in charge there countries were relatively safe and since they have been removed in the name of democracy these countries have been transformed into he'll holes

This dates back to when the ottoman empire was carved up into what it sort of looks like no days. Little care was given to the various groups encompassed by the new borders and a lot of tention stems from that. Add in Wahabism breeding this new insane kinds of terrorists in the safety of Saudi Arabia and you have a recipe for disaster.

But the bottom line is these countries need strong leadership, Saddam might have committed his fair amount of naughty deads but overall he was doing a decent job in the country he was in. The usa and uk however see this strong arm leadership and say hey this isn't democratic, this isn't like we do it, let's change this. When in reality they seem to be oblivious to the fact that our version of democracy can't survive in these terribly unstable countries. But the usa seem to pick and choose which nation they attack depending on what they want

Assad a decent educated guy and is a very logical thinker. The west try to portray him as some backward dictator who care little about his people

Since I'm a student here I don't pay any taxes, I get free education and free health care so it doesn't apply to me

No, it doesn't apply to you because someone else is working to pay taxes that pay for you to live suckling on the government's teat.

I worked my way through two college degrees so I feel that I earned those degrees.

I never like it when politics takes over on boxing threads, but I would say you're spot on here.

People talk about "free" healthcare and "free education" as if doctors, nurses, teachers etc are all working for free and the hospitals and schools and magically being built for free and the builders dont bother asking for money.

Theres no such thing as "free", someone is paying for it. Its just a matter of whether you pay up front or whether the money is confiscated out of your wages every week

Meet The Walton Family The Heirs To the Wal-Mart Fortune

    Their estimated individual fortunes are.....
    Alice 24,000,000,000
    Jim 24,000,000,000
    Rob 24,000,000,000
    Christy 24,000,000,000
    Nancy 24,000,000,000
    Anne 24,000,000,000
    That's BILLIONS with a B

And they get another 3,000,000,00o each every year.

And their workers get paid an average of 8.81 an Hour.

Please tell me how that's fair when they don't do s*** to earn it, and their workers work themselves half to death and barely get health insurance, and might walk away at the end of the day with 70 bucks a day and even less when you add in taxes. And most of them have children to raise and family members to care for.

Does anyone force these workers to work at Walmart?

How much would you think someone who stacks shelves should get paid?

Workers wages have ALWAYS been priced by their productivity levels. If you bring in $10 p/h to your company, you're not going to get paid $11 p/h.

You'll get 8.00, and the company will take 2 as profit. (Rough figures obviously)

Comparing working wages to people whose wealth arises from inheritance is like comparing apples and oranges.

a slick white Rusky, that didn't fight like a European guy. I personally think he would've been the class of the division. Laid Danny Jacobs out.
