Even at 38, GGG is still too much for anyone 160-175. That high ring IQ and dedication will help him shine in his toughest moments. It's in these next 5 yrs where we'll see if he's meant for greatness or a hype job, but so far so good. Not since Leonard have I seen anyone handle all styles thrown at him. It'll be a close race between GGG and Kovalev for #1 p4p, unless Ward gets by Kovalev. Haven't seen Ward vs a slick boxer type yet. I think Ggg would have beaten Jacobs, Lara, Lee, Canelo, Jack, and Degale by 2020. Ggg-Kov/Ward finally gets made, modern day classics, trilogies get made, all 3 finally become superstars, but Beterbiev joins the party and it gets even better. 175 becomes most popular division with Canelo wanting revenge and showing interest as many fighters also want piece of action. Chocolatito and Gallo Estrada have long anticipated rematch this time being alot closer than the 1rst and they get a draw. Chocolatito beats Inouye, but drops to #2-3, while Estrada's stock rises. Crawford beats Postol, has a war where he's losing in the scorecards vs Bradley, but comesback and stops him, and also beats Prov in sensational fashion, but in a tough fight. Sets up fights with old nemesis Swift Garcia and Khan, beats Garcia by MD and Khan by tko. Sets up showdown with Thurman-Spence winner. So I don't think there will be a dominant p4p king, GGG, Chocolatito, and Crawford will be sharing the throne and moving up and down the top 3 ranking.
I was wondering how long it would take someone to say Spence. In reality it'll prob be someone who's still amateur.
Remember, it's only just over 4 years. Was Mayweather P4P #1 after 4 years as pro? Nope. Such an achievement is rather rare.
Gonzalez will probably be in decline in 2020, but it wouldn't shock me if he was still P4P number one. Lomachenko is a good shout.
