So far we've had threads saying "Wilder Stiverne confirmed", "Wilder Briggs confirmed", and "Wilder Mansour confirmed". Now Wilder Spilkza? I heard Spilka was out of it. I'll believe it when its "confirmed confirmed". It would be a minimally acceptable match if it came off.

Good fight, Szpilka can give him some problems, but Wilder will probably catch him sooner or later

Jennings leftovers not surprised. But better than Wawrzyk or Briggs. Still not good.

Szpilka confirmed on his social media and I trust Dan Rafael twitter. I think this is too soon for Szpilka for a title fight but I applaud him for taking it since he's been in camp and the opportunity is here. Wilder is still an untested champ and the heavyweight division is currently rattled by Fury beating Klitschko. It'll be hard but maybe Szpilka can pull off something crazy. His defense better be the best of his life that night.

An upset wouldn't be all that surprising at all, considering Wilders last performance versus an anonymous fighter and his vulnerable chin. I think this will be a wild one and I hope there's a ref in there who lets fighters fight.

Agreed. It's the bare minimum to keep from making this the worst 3 title defenses to start a reign in hw history.
