Now that Fury is the quasi undisputed champ, and Povetkin has been the clear #2 in the division, I expect this fight will occur at some point in time. Maybe as a unification bout, but even if Fury or Povetkin lose in their next couple bouts, I' be surprised if the fight doesn't happen before one of them retires. Who ya got?

I'm going with Fury. I think he jabs him to a UD in a fairly boring fight.

I picked fury to beat him about 4-5 years ago and it's the same story now

Hopefully wilder man's up and goes to Moscow so Sasha will have a belt to give fury

Fury of course, and he'd expose Povetkin's size limitations even more.

The difference in size between the two would be cartoonish

And with all that, Tyson is also the one with the better gas tank, and by a mile

Povetkin will take this for sure. Fury can't deal with his combination punching and power.

Plus durability. Povetkin will expose Fury if the fight ever happens.

Wow, kinda surprised so many make Povetkin the favorite. I would have figured it would be at least 50/50.

Definitely could go either way. And it poses two classic match up questions for me 1. the obvious size issue and 2. Marque "name" resume vs quantity resume. Fury's got by far the biggest win, Povetkins got a lot more quality wins, though.

For me its mainly just the matchup featuring a fast giant vs a high quality, but much smaller hw. The only top 20 HW Povetkin ever beat who was 6'4, 225 or above was Wach, not exactly comparable to Fury. Chisora has much more in common with Povetkin than Wach does to Fury.

Povetkin will be embarrassed. Wlad did it and Fury did it to Wlad. Stylishly is not much different of a fight, only worse for Povetkin.

Povetkin struggled with Huck .a face first cruiser easy to hit yet pov couldn't stop him how will he cope with a big lump like fury .fury is faster than Huck and hits harder and is much bigger what will pov do?what if fury starts singing? don't forget fury is hatstand!

I got Povetkin by KO. He's far superior technically. Fury was lucky to get Wlad on the slide and on a bad night.

Fury: the combination of being too big, tall and fast for Povetkin to handle.

Size does matter, but the overall talent of Fury gives him enough of qualities to beat Povetkin.

    Utterly mystifying voting!

The Undisputed World Champ would win every round, cut up and totally take the soul from Povetkin. He's a smaller guy than Chisora and doesn't have the engine of DelBoy either.

Wlad won 119-104 I think. Fury just won pretty much every round vs Wlad.

Povetkin is also 36/37 next year.

You guys voting against Tyson are delusional!

Povetkin is ridiculously overrated on this board IMO. I'm not really sure why so many people here like him, since he doesn't speak English its kind of hard to get a sense of what kind of person he is.

But even after the Wlad fight many here considered him head and shoulders above every other fighter in the world. Even though he's never beaten a taller bigger fighter with skills or power.

That's basically why people think Takam and Perez are great fighters on here because they lost to Povetkin.

I would think Tyson wins. Too good of a boxer (don't confuse this with his style)..
