Young Foreman has the reflexes and a little more speed to land on Holyfield. Foreman by brutal ko after a 5-6rd firefight in which Holyfield is outgunned

Hey Newbie, the heart comment is literally not figurately. Not like Holyfield has no heart....but the physical heart inside him had a microscopic hole found by doctors after the Moorer fight. Google it. This condition most likely affected him in prior fights. Coorelated to the BALCO steroids he had regularly been taking upon competing at HW? Could be. Its not something athletes at his age when it was found encounter everyday. Just logical conclusions, not discrediting holyfield.

Now go scrub an ESB toilet with a toothbrush

I'm guessing he would have paced himself accordingly if it was a 15 round fight. George also said that Holyfield's left-hook to the body was one of the hardest punches he ever took, so that would probably have been enough to keep him honest.

Great performance by old George but I think he loses this one regardless of whether it's 12 or 15 rounds.

Lol, who the **** are you keyboard nerd to call me newbie?! Where's the proof that he actually took steroids, did he ever fail a test? I know he have had heart problems and it might been caused from steroids but we will never know for sure and for some people to say that he's career is what it is because of steroids is just wrong and false.

Have any of you pencil neck nerds ever tried steroids?! Do you really think that just because you take any PED you instantly turn in to Superman? Hate to break it to you but it's not gonna happen!

I agree, it's naive to think Holyfield was unique assuming he was using. He was damn skilled and had heart!

So now you take offense to being called a newbie even though thats what you are. Look at your profile and post count. It says Newbie there. Sorry to break it to you, Newbie.

    ------------------------------
    As for your proof... :

--As mentioned his name surfaced in the Orlando bust, from both the Albany Times-Union and from Sports Illustrated. (now from the Herald)Holyfield’s name does not appear on documents, because the drugs in question were ordered by a patient named “Evan Fields,” whose birthday, Oct. 19, 1962, happens to coincide with Holyfield’s. (Fields’ listed address was “794 Evander, Fairfield, Ga.”) And when the SI reporters dialed the number listed on Evan Fields’ prescription, Holyfield answered the phone.

--According to the records of the investigation, Holyfield (or “Fields”) obtained, in June of 2004, testosterone, Glukor and injection supplies, and three weeks later picked up five vials of Human Growth Hormone

--In September of the same year, incidentally, “Evan Fields” returned to his urologist, this time to be treated for “hypogonadism.” Two months later, after losing to Larry Donald on a Madison Square Garden undercard, Holyfield was suspended in New York for what NYSAC chairman Ron Scott Stevens cited as “diminished skills.”
To his credit, Holyfield did not at the time avail himself of the obvious avenue of escape. He could, after all, have told Ron Scott Stevens “I don’t have diminished skills. You’d fight that way too if your gonads were the size of a pair of bb’s.”

--Dr. Margaret Goodman, now the chief ringside physician for the Nevada State Athletic Commission, told the SI reporters that back in 1994, when Holyfield evinced evidence of a heart defect follwing his loss to Michael Moorer, commission doctors believed the malady to be consistent with HGH use, but since Holyfield denied having used the substance they could not pursue the theory.

    -------------------------------------------------

The biggest proof of course is Googling Holyfield as a cruiser in 1986 and Holyfield at heavyweight. Marvel at the 'transformation' of his body

    Anything else Newbie? :D:lol:

The hands crossed defense was Big George's only recourse.
Holyfield was simply to fast and Foreman to slow.
Foreman would have been stopped had he fought any other way.

Yep! Holyfield was busy every round.

Believe me, Foreman was just as tired, but its less noticeable because he's was lumbering all along anyways, employing mainly the jab and crossing his arms at anything heading his way.

Looking back at it, I thought it was a magnificent gameplan by Foreman. Offering a target, but crossing his arms to pickoff a lot of Holyfields shots and in the process, hoping Holyfield wears himself out with activity so that later, Foreman could have a chance to get his in.

The gameplan I feel would have worked against Mike Tyson, as he isn't as adaptable to situations like Holyfield is.

As for had it been 15? Holyfield would have paced himself to go 15.

Lol, you're so dumb I'm surprised you can read. This is the last time I ask you, did Holyfield fail a test after a fight? This is only a Yes or No question so don't try to say something smart that will make you look dumber, if that's even possible...
