whyte is just another stepping stone. most if not everyone loses in the amatuers. dilllian has fought more fodder than joshua and no one seems to mention this. either way chisora is always exciting even if he does lose. his second loss to fury was due to his bust up eye really but props to fury for breaking him down.

Would be a dangerous gap in move up for Joshua. Price went from top 40ish hw's like Audley directly to another fringe top 10 guy everyone thought was shot in Thompson, look how that turned out. Whyte is on no higher level than top 35ish Johnson, and then Joshua turns around and faces another tough, fringe top 10 guy in Chisora (frankly, much more clear top 10 than Thompson was at the time, Chisora's got a much better resume than he did at that point).

I'd match Joshua up with a bigger, durable top 25 guy like Duhaupas next, then maybe a skillful top 15ish guy lacking power like Cunningham, then a tougher Perez, Chisora fringe top 10 guy. Then have a final eliminator for a belt. He could get all that done by January or February of 2017, have a great, diverse resume and plenty of experience and exposure heading into a title fight.
