If he did start fighting at 160 he could eat more and come in the ring around 175-180 at 5ft 7in will he be hitting like a little Mike Tyson? Without being drained his stamina and work rate could improve. I am afraid his chin would be in trouble if he moves up against naturally bigger men. I don't think canelo could use enough movement to control the distance and avoid the taller, longer reach of a monster like golovkin. Canelo does have good feints and upper body movement and defense that he just might be able to avoid getting dropped but I am not convinced his chin would hold up at 160.

He'd probably be able to fight hard for a whole round if he didn't have to cut as much weight.
He'd rather stay at Super F@ggotweight

He'd be stretchered out because that means he'd have to fight an un-drained GGG

All he has is a name but in terms of how he does he would lose to many of the 160 fighters

We will never know, but he needs to bulk his way up to 160. I don't want to see him waste his time with excessive mealing trying to to make it. He should stick to 155 clean it up, then move on to 160 when he can make the weight easily

155 >> 160 is too big of a jump, he should clean out 155 then move up to 157 :deal

I think he is just screwed size wise. At 5 7 160 against ggg he would be like Vinny pazienza vs Roy Jones Jr. If he can't adapt at 160 his career has pretty much peaked.
