And Lamont Peterson vs Felix Diaz, which was overshadowed by the Colon tragedy.

That might be the robbery of the year alongside Soliman vs Wade. Diaz won 8 to 9 rounds and lost via wide UD for Peterson.

Being that you used Iman's performance as a referent point to justify and highlight your indignity over last nights decision, I am compelled to reply because I totally disagree that he put on a better performance than Imam. For one, Castillo never came close to laying as much leather on Imam as he laid on Obara and that's a testament to Imam's defensive skills which far outstrips Obara's. Both fighters were easy to hit and the fight was more a war of attrition than a demonstration of boxing skills. Imam showed real boxing skills in his destruction of Castillo, offensively and defensively. He landed 60% of his power punches and won the fight with scores of 99/91 100/90 98/92. He totally outclassed the man. Obara didn't put on that kind of performance.

    I had it 8-4, Obara.

But there were 2-3 really tight rds where Castillo did his work inside while Obara controlled from range.

And 2 of those rds go to Castillo and it's a draw. :think

It was a bad decision, but not a horrendous robbery.:good

Obara is a very solid fighter.....showed very good boxing skills both offensively and defensively. He was very calm for being robbed.....even blamed himself for not getting the knockout.

Yup....there's a card on truTV coming up soon, I think. Heard Pac might choose Crawford for his "last fight".

Yeah I was scrolling through my cable guide looking for when Donaire-Juarez comes on and saw it too, also there's a decent card on ShoBox tonight with Baranchyk and Prograis who are both decent.

It was not close at all.....a deplorable decision. The two who scored it a draw were Castillo's parents. Castillo's wife had it 115-112 for Obara.
