Why do heaps of you muppets keep on asking how people are eating it up that this fight is competitive? Every poll i have seen has been 85% in favour of Joshua surely you dont think it should be 100%? If you do uou are re****ed. 90% of people here think Joshua would beat any man alive. Why do you buy in to this bloke being invincible? He hasn't beat a live body yet, you just eat that **** up.
He's just unproven same as Aj, the bloke can bang and has a good chin. Why arent we allowed to give the bloke a chance. My reasoning for wanting him to win has nothing to do with propaganda. Actually i want him to win even more because people arent giving him a chance
Whyte going to shock the world! I have a very confident ledger of a sizable amount ($15) riding on said scenario
if anthony joshua had a proven teak tough chin i would pick himwithout hesitation , he has better boxing skills from distance and inside with shorter sharper punches , but i have seen him staggered , but not to wobbly in the amatuers , albeit he looks way more polished and relaxed as a pro. whyte though is not someone i beleive hearn should have picked at this stage, very risky and dangerous fight, much more than the 8 to 1 you could get on whyte a few days ago last time i looked. whyte is obviously a hard man , he could be a oliver mccall type, hit him with the kitchen sink and he barely blinks and then joshua will be in a long gruelling fight. whyte had 21 british and european k1 fights before he fought joshua ,was british and european super heavy champ in that sport and won all but 1 of them and that he lost on points, even vitali was knocked spark out in that fighting sport, he then fought as an amatuer fighting joshua and roughing him up in his first amatuer boxing fight on points and then according to wiki won his next 5 amatuer super heavy fights by ko putting one opponent into a coma. so in 43 fights that he has had he has one by ko most of them and never been decked. skill level he is a bit crude but he defenitlay hits hard with either hand and durabilty wise he looks on paper more proven than joshua. never can tell but i think whyte even if he loses and i pick joshua on points will be a genuine top ten fighter and imo is a lot more dangerous than people believe. joshua impresses me , he is a natural fighter and not a frank bruno box by numbers fighter and if he boxes from distance , is respectfull and stays relaxed can win timing whyte as he makes mistakes but i cannot see it being a walk in the park as some believe, imo this is a match up of 2 top ten heavys on abilty and power even if they have only had 30 pro fights between them there is know way team wilder would have made this match up, hearn must have spies in the whyte gym and no more than i do. i would have gone for chisora instead a much less risky fight , or no risk at all IMO and outside of the uk he is a much bigger name than whyte who i am guessing is unknown .
I agree, excellent post. Just because 1 fighter loses it doesn't mean they arent legit. This could easily be a Groves vs Degale scenario
Minto was able to land straight rights without even setting it up with the jab. This fight doesn't last a round.
That is bs but any way, did they back Dillian up at all? Did he even give them a 2nd thought? Whyte did not respect Mintos power at all. Minto lasted 20 seconds in to the 3rd round and was lucky round 1 finshed after the kd. Whyte is unlikely to fight the same way against a completely different opponent. Joshua will fight differently as well, you have to when you fight someone with legit power
thats how i see it . unless one of them crumbles easily , both will be around fighting in the top tier. i can see ways for whyte to win and if i was a betting man which i am not joshua odds are to short and dillons to long a £100 bet on joshua to win £10 this does not correlate imo of what i have seen of the 2 boxers or of what my experience of watching boxing has taught me about odds or trying to ****yse fights especially when you do not have 2 tried and tested fighters in the ring to try and work out a prediction on.
Between them, the best win on their combined records is over Gary the Cornish Hen. I don't get the excitement over this "PPV" fight.
