Victor Ortiz vs. Gilberto Sánchez León, 10 rounds @ light middleweight

 

Halfway through. Sánchez León has been down once in round three and is now in a deep hole on points, having also had a point deducted.

 

Either on the NBC Sports Net or the main NBC portion of the card, not sure which. Definitely ought to be televised either way.

 

Grueling inside fight, shoulder to shoulder. Ortiz is the physically stronger man but getting mauled and suppressed in the clinch a bit, and smacked behind the head. Sánchez León is a grizzled vet, unwilling to go quietly.

 

Of the entire card, yes. Won't be on for hours. I'd guess about 10pm EST.

 

They just showed the connect stats. It was something like a hundred and something to sixteen in Ortiz's favor. He won't lose this one - but he is going to pull the wool over a bunch of fans' eyes making them believe he's "back" just because he's dominating a 34 year old former super bantamweight with over a dozen losses. :!:
