Will he go on to greatness or will he fail?
Incredible ahlete but on the other hand thats 2 opponents now (Chudinov and Spike) that he hit over and over again with every punch in the book and neither fell......

Hes tuned up a semi decent fighter in chudinov and a domestic limited banger In spike. His punch power isn't fantastic. But he lives the life looks incredibly fit,has an awkward style. If his chin holds up he can grab a title.

I'm not a Eubank Jr fan but you could make a case for him beating any middleweight besides GGG

    Too big for catchweight Alvarez
    Questions marks over Jacobs' durability
Would most probably be seen as the favourite in a rematch with Bjs

Definitely a potential future world champion in 2016

he's got a fight vs Jacobs next I think who has genuine KO power, and it should be a decent contest with no obvious winner. I think this will reveal whether he's elite or someone who'll fall short at world level.

His punch power doesn't seem all that though his upper cuts look good watching on TV.

    Still not sold on him.

    Entertaining to watch? Yes.

Could put 4-5 names ahead of him at MW? Yes.

No way he fights Jacobs anytime soon.
Jacobs is waaay too good for him right now....whether that will change in the future remains to be seen....

CEJ is teetering on the brink of 168. He missed weight for Spike remember. For a guy with no power at 160 a move to 168 will not end well......He hit Chudinov & Spike with everything but the corner stool and they werent going anywhere......

Lets see him in with someone with heart who won't quit when the going gets tough. Spike disgraced himself last night, he should retire after that.

Probably target British Title next.....no guarantee he gets past Nick Blackwell, who is brave and tough like Spike, but a better athlete and technically a better boxer too.

    Then there is BJS....

CEJ is not even close to exiting the UK market yet .....

you can sometimes come across as knowledgeable on here but sometimes its like you don't know anything about the sport. lol

maybe the reason eubank jr isn't taking people out at 160 is because when he takes that last bit of weight off it is making him lose the snap in his 1 punch power. that could all change at 168 if he doesn't have to take so much out of his body to make weight.

I'm glad you agree I'm knowledgeable about boxing. :bart
Perhaps some day you will be too.

CEJ is NOT weight-drained.....at least not yet anyway....he indicates NONE of the symptoms of weight-draining....his incredible punch output/volume against Chudinov & Spike prove it.

He is however a growing young man and I doubt he will stay at 160 for long.
He just isnt a big puncher, thats all. :thumbsup

tough nights work against Jacbos and he would probably have to fight over in America as well. imagine he will take a few more fights in the UK then get a world title fight

OP is still butt hurt that his fellow Irishman Spike quit on his stool like an absolute gimp last night.

Eubank has bags of potential. Eddie Hearn will match him cleverly next year and he'll be ready for an assault on the world scene in 2017.
