    Good point about the rapid loss of weight..... I was thinking the same. Not even if you're a heavyweight to get fat during the off season and then burn it off in camp. That kind of thing will take it's toll eventually.

    Arreola was hurt by scrubs in 2 of his 3 fights prior to the first Stiverne encounter. A shot 40 year old Friday Ahunanya hurt him in one of them and some complete non entity part timer called Eric Molina hurt him too. Been on the slide for years and he was never that good even when in his prime. Tough guy with tatts and heavy hands. Big heart too. Pretty entertaining during interviews as well.

    A couple of years ago people slated me for suggesting Andy Ruiz Jr. would beat Arreola in a battle of the fat heavyweight Mexican-American hopes.

    Ruiz's stock has actually dipped since then, a LOT, but I stand by it. :deal

    Getting to the point where Arreola might need to sweep the rest of the rounds, get a KD or two to have even a chance on the cards. I'll just say he probably needs a KO if he's going to win :lol:

    Kauffman is doubling the jab and pushing Arreola over the full breadth of the ring. Arreola stumbling a bit now, ungainly. Arreola tries correcting his footwork but it just becomes a methodical plod in reverse, widening his stance. Arreola is offensively rigid, sticking out a few jabs from his guard, held up stiffly by his face. Left hooks and windmilling rights by Kauffman, always coming forward. Body jabs by Kauffman. Lead right up top by Kauffman, making Arreola bend forward straight into a dusting of light hooks with both hands by Kauffman. Jabs by Kauffman, walking Arreola into the ropes. Kauffman dashes in with a left hook on the body. Heads clash, and Kauffman simultaneously lands a low blow. Arreola sells it, taking a lot of recovery time. Arreola's eyes shut tight, looking about to cry. He paces along one set of ropes, sitting down a few times and doing stretches, touching his toes as the crowd boos vociferously at him. Time in after nearly three minutes, of the five allowed per the rules. Kauffman still roughing up Arreola, squatting and jabbing the body and then coming up in his face with power slaps.
